My baby, she wrote me a letter!

Here's to Tome and Navi, who crossed over hill, dale, servers, and International Date Lines to send me some Azeroth post! So much nicer than the usual bills from the Auction House and demands for ebonsteel belt buckles from [my] other characters.

I can't tell you how much the right words at the right time mean to me.

To all my good friends, in Azeroth and out, I'm a very lucky lady indeed.

Theme song: I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself A Letter

Postscript: Silly Druid! It was still in the mailbox!

  1. Lovely letter and post Matty. Over the past few months I've have many lovely comments from my blogging. Most recently, I've had some really supportive words on twitter and on my blog when things were going so badly for me. It's amazing how one nice comment can really lift your spirits.

You and Tome often make me chuckle from something you've written.

Keep up the good work :)

    1. Thank you Cymre - you know - here is all I ever do know - every single one of us has stuff, and no one can ever know everything going on, or should know. I deal with words all day long, but it's the truthful, sweet ones that get me through. I have a saying on my wall, "To the whole world you may be only one person, but to one person you may be the whole world.' I know it's sappy, but i like it anyway. Glad I can make you chuckle. Life's too short not to laugh!

I have to agree. Folks just being themselves and sending a reply simply commenting positively towards you (depending on the content and discussion) can do so much.

  2. And not just mail but a rhyming Navi letter! Doesn't get better than that!

  3. I should have made mine anonymous, or with a different name! Now I look like a stalker :)
And I did wonder where Ancient's letter was...
Oh me and Ancient were laughing our heads off at our shenannigans. Like how I thought how clever I was with starting a toon... and OMG I can't send any mail coz I have no money! So off I went to kill butterflies. Tome said she would graciously send me her extra 12c but it would cost her 30c to send it so couldn't do that! Then I was writing my letter and I accidentally hit escape and lost it! Waaaaah! Tome was surprised she had another lock in the wings and all in all we are happy you are happy with our efforts!

    1. I find the whole thing hilarious and sweet-- what Blizzard should do is invent cross-realm TP'ing - not sure they have that in Aus, but in the states it's when you get rolls and rolls of toilet paper and drape it all over someone's house!

Made my day! And unless you are a NE in DK form offering me free lap rides, I think you're safe!

...the occasion being Hallowe'en or someone's away on their honeymoon.

    3. Bloody hell! You need an OCCASION? Oh, snap! And here I was just randomly throwing toilet paper around. It's got to be a holiday somewhere, right?

Actually the only time I TP'd someone's house I had to go pee so badly I had to go home. Irony, right?

And one time my house got TP'd was discovered on a rainy, icy, Christmas Eve morning when I was up at 4am to go to work at Starbucks. A neighbor walking his dog helped me clean it up.

      /sigh
